A Long Overdue Introduction
Bonjour, Hola, Hallo, Bàwo ni, Hello 👋🏾
Okay, that is as much as I can confidently write in multiple languages.
This post was supposed to be published on May 18, 2024, but, well… life happened. Almost a year later, after setting up this blog, I got an email about the domain renewal, which also served as a reality check. I had set up a blog but hadn’t posted anything which kind of defeats the whole purpose, right?
That needed to change.
So, ten days after renewing my domain, I’m finally writing and publishing what should have been my first post last year.
What This Blog is About
I don’t have a strict content plan but this blog will be a mix of things — projects I build, things I consume, ideas I come across, and general adventures as time allows. Here is what I think you can expect:
-
Software & Side Projects – I’ll be sharing insights into mobile development, mostly Flutter and SwiftUI. This might include code snippets or experiments with new tools and frameworks.
-
Recaps – A monthly reflection on what I’ve been up to. Could be personal projects, work-related updates, or just notable moments worth documenting.
-
Books & Media – Thoughts on what I have been reading, watching or listening to.
-
Random Thoughts – Because not everything fits into a category.
It’s already two months into 2025, and now feels like the perfect time to start, just like last year should have been the perfect time. But here we are.
A Quick Look Behind the Scenes
For anyone curious, this blog runs on Jekyll, a static site generator. I’m using the Chirpy theme because it works well on mobile, and just looks great! I’ve made a few tweaks here and there to suit my needs, but nothing too drastic.
Onward 🚀
If you’ve stumbled upon this post — maybe from anywhere (which I have no idea about) — I’m glad you’re here.
My goal is to keep things professional but still personal. Some posts will be technical, some will be reflective, but all will be written with the idea of sharing something useful.
Looking forward to what’s ahead. Thanks for reading, see you in the next one!
